Observation

2)b) There are window blinds with exposed inner cords in the licensed space. They are in the classroom above an adult-height counter, but there are chairs next to the counter that could allow a child to climb or reach the counter. The bottom rail of the window blinds is not secured to the window frame to prevent the inner cord from being pulled out to form a loop. 2)c) There are lanyards hanging in the classroom that were accessible to children. The cords are long enough to form a loop and pose a hazard of strangulation. 2)c) There are loose extension cords, light cords, and cables that are not secured to the house in the area where the balance bikes are stored in the outdoor play area. The cords are accessible to children and long enough to form a loop, posing a hazard of strangulation. 2)c) There are two cables that are part of the deck railing that have come loose and are long enough to hang down and form a loop, posing a hazard of strangulation. 2)d) There are plastic bags in a few of the children's cubbies (opened bags of diapers/pull-ups) and an opened box of plastic trash bags sitting on the low cubbies in the classroom accessible to children. 5)a) There is an electrical outlet on the side of the house that has an opened cover which is accessible to children. This is in the area where the balance bikes are located. 5)f) There is an extension cord in use, to plug in the holiday lights. The extension cord is not being used for a brief, temporary purpose as required, it is being used to plug the lights at all times.
